How to access the Governance module
The module is optional - contact your account manager to activate it. Once activated, it can only be accessed by administrators. You can modify access rights using the user access rights management tool (not yet migrated to this Notion knowledge base).
It can be found in the main menu.
What can you manage in the Governance module?
Governance can be used to manage several types of object:
Each object is defined by:
- Its name (mandatory - determines the uniqueness of properties in DataGalaxy)
- Its description
- Who is responsible for it
- Any attribute relevant to your context of use. The customer area administrator can create custom attributes.
