The DataGalaxy extension puts your data catalog in the browser: search it, open an object's detail sheet, edit the attributes you have rights to, and jump to related objects without going back to the platform.
If AI features are enabled in your client space, they are available in the extension too.

How to refine your search with quick filters
Depending on the size and depth of your catalog, a simple keyword search can return a lot of results. Quick filters make your searches faster and more precise.
To configure quick filters, you need administrator rights. Go to Administration → Search in the web application, where you can set different filters for readers and stewards.
How to view and edit information about your data assets
Click an object to open its detail sheet and see key information at a glance: description, tags, owners, context, and more. It's just like the platform, but directly inside the extension.
If you have edit rights, you can also edit the attributes available on the object's sheet, for an immediate productivity boost.
How to navigate to related objects
The Linked objects and Descendants tabs give you an instant view of your objects' context and hierarchy. With one click, you can view all associated objects.
For example, from a report field, you can go directly to the source column in the data dictionary, or to the indicator that defines it in the glossary.
How to use the extension's AI features
If AI features are enabled in your client space, you can use them directly from the extension.
