Choose Where to Start with SSO

Choose the applicable SSO instance type and follow the SAMLv2 or OIDC setup procedure.

Single sign-on (SSO) lets a user reach DataGalaxy with one authentication through your own information system. DataGalaxy supports two protocols: SAMLv2 and OIDC.

Only authentication is delegated to your identity provider; permissions are still defined within DataGalaxy. The procedure you follow depends on the kind of instance your client space runs on.

Depending on the subscription type you have with DataGalaxy, this feature may be included in your plan. Don't hesitate to reach out to your Account Manager.
These guidelines apply to customers hosted on the DataGalaxy infrastructure. For on-premises hosting, contact your account manager.

Which instance type do you have?

Three cases are possible, each requiring a different procedure.

Dedicated instance

Access URL of the type clientspace.datagalaxy.com.

See Set Up SSO in a Dedicated Environment.

Shared instance with a customized URL

Access URL of the type clientspace.app.datagalaxy.com.

Not available before mid-2025. In the meantime, contact your Account Manager, who will propose a migration to a dedicated instance.

Shared instance without a customized URL

Access URL of the type app.datagalaxy.com, app.ch.datagalaxy.com, app.us.1.datagalaxy.com, app.fr.datagalaxy.com…

Not available before mid-2025. In the meantime, contact your Account Manager, who will propose a migration to a dedicated instance.
